I have an 08 GMC Sierra, and trying to install a Singer alternaor with dual bracket.I'm keeping the stock in,and adding the Singer.Well,I have the bracket in,new belt in,and trying to figure out the wiring. It has a relay, that plugs one end to a fuse, and the other end has a clip that goes to alternator, plus a red and blue wire with ring terminals on them.Where do those go?I'm having trouble with the wiring,.

Oh ... Forgot to ask.

Why keep the stock alternator and a stronger one ??? Different voltage outputs ???

Randal, because that stock alt is on a short leash. The PCM has a right control over voltage on that stock alternator and no alt manufacturer has a great way to bypass it yet. Hence the secondary for the audio and keeping the primary for the truck.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
