Is it just me? Fab Fail

I start scrolling through build logs and want to give up on life.

This shit is ridiculous. I went out in the garage, planed some rough cut lumber to build a simple stand for some speakers. Literally a fuckin slanted stand, kinda like a slanted H....this is like basic shop class shit and I spend two hours on it, try and clean up a dovetail with a chisel and bust the whole thing into pieces.

These fuckers on here are building the goddamn space shuttle in their garage. SERIOUSLY what in the holy fuck is going on.

"hey yea I just fabbed up a entire suede interior to add to the actual carbon fiber accents that I then molded in with my aluminum hand routed accent pieces and oh I got bored and decided to put a rebuilt viper V10 in my truck"

Also WTF MEADE! your DGAF has two 9ks in it?!?

/angry old man rant.

What this post really is, is to say the fab work you people do is ridiculous. Well Done folks.

I feel for ya man. Totally understand where your coming from. I have carport and try to do all my fabing during the few months I can. always feel rush doing it due to time frame and working 72+ hrs a week during the construction season. Shitty part is I am a perfectionist and I know I could have better skill if I had the option to take more time on my projects. But it currently will have to be good enough for me and my system.

Memebers on here do have some sick skills, Hats off to those that can work the magic as well as they can.

The one thing that helped me is something Bill said a few years ago. It went something like "it only looks easy because I don't take pictures of the screw ups" and "I've had installs that look way better on camera than in person"

Patience is key

My Dad said keep at it. Just like Kylar96 said a lot of talent on the forum here.

I spend more time and money rebuilding my own shit work to get it to where I'm happy with it.

There is some serious talent on the forum, and it make some of us drool and then cry.
