5 channel amp to run my entire system

That MB Quart amp isn't even CEA compliant... so, it's very likely those RMS ratings are exaggerated.

I'd suggest this AMP:

Clean power... 2 OHM minimum on the sub output though.

If you really don't care that much and you just want something cheap and works... Just get a Jensen 760.4

http://www.amazon.com/Jensen-Power-760-Car-Amplifier/dp/B00GOFX958/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1411963683&sr=1-12&keywords=Jensen+amp

and some cheap mono block amp... It's going to be like $120+ for a 1 OHM capable amp that is brand new... Why does it have to be 1 OHM?

Cea compliant means nothing.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

The subs r dual 4 ohm and the way I wired them is to 1 ohm or is there a better way to run them I really don't want cheapo stuff just something decent and reliable

Wiring them to 1 ohm is fine as long as you find an amp that can handle that. Such as this Rockford 75x4 @4 ohm + 500x1 @1 ohm.

im leaning towards this amp would this push them efficiently and not run hot being as im going to run it as 1 ohm??? and also the other 4 channels will be bridged to 2 to run my 4 highs speakers?? the sonicelectronix guy i talked to said the subs i got are really about 200 rms eachhttp://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_79512_Soundstream-TA5.1250.html

or this one out of the 2 what would be more applicable to my install, this hifonics brx5000.5 or the soundstream??

the sonicelectronix guy said to run the subs in 4 ohm to reduce the work load on the amp would this be ideal??

I highly suggest running separate amplifiers ... But that's just me.

Kenwood / HELIX / Linear Power (For The Love Of Music) / Brutal Sounds / OverKill Electric Co

Questions About Sound Quality ?? Try Here ... Sound Quality, What does it REALLY mean ??

SMD SOTM Winner "White Lightning" 1997 GMT400 Chevy Silverado

"The Green Dickle" 1994 GMT400 Chevy "Phantom Dually"

Randal's 2007 Chevy Avalanche (we haven't named this one yet)

Why not just run 2 different amps? Lol

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

If it has to be one single amp I agree the Memphis Belle is the one I'd use. Sold countless numbers of them over the years and they just work, sound good, and have great power.

For my boat where I need something smaller I've been eyeing up the Massive NX5 or American Bass 5100 (they may or may not use the same board...). Read good things, but have not actually heard one yet to determine sound quality. They do have more power than most on the sub channel, and are quite a bit cheaper than the Memphis (which has more).

Static drops are my bag.
