Until then, she'll be on antibiotics and a very strict diet. She's still sick, but claims to feeling a little bit better each of the past few days. No telling where it came from, especially since only her and my Dad are in the house, and eat damn near identical diets. Because of that infection, all food had a metallic taste to it, and she started to eat less and less. So, as the E. coli bacteria infection spread, she was becoming malnourished from not wanting to eat because of the metal taste. After a few days of not feeling good, she experienced a severe episode of hypoglycemia. I also learned today that she flat-lined 3 or 4 times at the hospital.
