When you read on the news that a couple shooters were from Lewiston Maine or Minneapolis involved in the Kenyan mall terrorism last year, you can rest assured that they weren't Norwegians in flannel shirts and wool pants.... they were Somalians who have come in and basically turned that portion of the town into a mini Somalia. Their countries look the way they do because they're populated by the sort of people that create those conditions. Sweden now has 55 "no go" places where police and other emergency services won't even go without military escort and local warlords mete out justice according to Sharia law. Keep your powder dry, and just remember virtually everybody in DC politics has been complicit in keeping the borders wide open and inviting in these primitive fundamentalists. Open your history books you'll see for yourself. Only religion that preaches forcing non believers to believe and you can be killed for saying anything bad about it or depicting their "god". Extremist muslims* Islam is actually one of the more tolerant religions when you're not dealing with extremists with their own version of islam. From this thread it seems you're not the only one with that view. Shit afghanistan, iraq, and libya only make up ~5% of all muslims in the world. I get that americans would have a harsh view of islam from dealing with those countries but putting all muslims in the same boat is retarded. Most of those countries are underdeveloped, before the west was developed it had the same problem with religious violence and extremists. Even in ireland we had the troubles up the north not long ago. We called those fuckwits terrorists too but the media has done a good job in your country showcasing that terrorists have to be muslim now. Hell christianity has been the most violent religious group the world has seen going back through history but that doesn't matter. There's a billion and a half people who follow islam, you can't just discount those because they're all "bad news". By the way "their god" is also your god if you believe in that. Allah is just their word for god. It's not some separate god. Arab christians use the same word. They believe the same as christianity. In the same one god. Just because a certain extremist sect shouts loudest doesn't mean they represent islam. Look at westboro baptist church. Do they represent christian america? It's a little uncomfortable to think that the only experience some of you have with islam is from your tours on duty. I don't think there'd be any coming back from that way of thinking after seeing what some of you must have seen. But the fact is war is great business, someone somewhere is making a lot of money having you believe that islam is the enemy. Your government is creating more terrorists with their war on terror and the innocent people in your country are going to be paying the price. I don't mean to sound preachy to anyone with this shit, it's just seeing a lot of replies with basically "fuck islam" struck a note with me.
