CleanSierra
My math says if he's setting the SSF at 28 Hz, and that's half an octave below tuning, he's tuned at 38-ish. 38/2=19.5 = full octave. 9.75 Hz= half octave. 38-9.75= 28.25 Hz. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Sergeant_Skyrim
No but really, just play a 27hz tone not full tilt but enough to get the sub moving enough to notice, then start turning the subsonic up until the sub stops flapping. Would be better to guess than risk damaging your stuff Build in progress
MrSkippyJ
What the hell's a subsonic filter? to be fair, lots of manufacturers use this terminology. And even though it's not the correct use of the terminology, it is very commonly used. TRON
If you don't have a tool to set the infrasonic filter, you'll never get your target frequency. You should at lest have it half way up. You don't want to be sending the tail end of kicks, vocal pops, and other messy unheard stuff to the sub-woofer. It makes it that much harder to produce a solid 35hz wave whilst trying to play the 5hz bottom end of a bass drum...
