meade916
extremely sexy looking sub!!! Expensive? sure....but that's a LOT of NEO. If you factor in how much a Neo magnet the size of a pencil eraser is, it makes sense. Matter of fact, for that much Neo, it appears to be a BARGAIN. dereileak
How much power rms will these be rated for? And what will they take for burps? sundownz
Burp power will depend on the soft parts used & the frequency -- in the right application 20k+ for burps could be seen. We had some guys in Russia do 20k burps on an NS v.2 before... I've done ~8-9k burps on an SA-18 for that matter As far as RMS... we rate our TEAM for 5000-watts RMS and it has a larger coil. Although -- having such a strong motor these will move more per watt of input (so more air cooling per watt applied) -- so thermal dissipation will be more efficient. I had considered just putting "variable" for RMS power as each one will be built to suit the application it is being used for. tboorn
That much neo looks insane!! in only the best ways. When i got my N3's and after doing all the research i could, people always "claimed" there was too much motor force to play well on music. And they only have 3 neo pucks. But damn that thing is PURE neo, i cant even imagine how much motor force that thing has. Any more news/testing on these yet?
