Both my kids know where my guns are at and know not to touch them unless I say so. My 6 year old son can field strip my g19 and has shot my AR. They both understand the importance of firearm safety and know how to handle them.

It's called parenting. Teaching your kids proper firearm safety and taking the curiosity out of them.

I do! lol

My 15 year old knows where the Colt King Cobra is. She also knows how to use it.

My 8 year old doesn't have access to the loaded gun but I have left unloaded guns on the table at times and the video camera on for hours to she what she would do. Nothing.

Gotta train em' right from the beginning. And that's one thing the average gun owner doesn't do
