Triticum Agricolam
I have a set of Etymotic ER-4P in-ear and a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50 over-the-ear headphones. The have their differences but I like both very much. Krakin
Just because I'm lazy, I'm quoting from my computer log. Got my headphones and amp in!My Schiit amp, the Magni. Now for the Sennheiser HD650's! I was very impressed with the shipping, the box/traveling case is very very nice.So far the sound is amazing, the amp is enough to power these 300 ohm speakers nicely. I can hear in the sound quality test tracks when the musicians press down on the keys of a keyboard, or press down on a valve for their horn.I will do an extensive review on these after I get 70 or so hours of play time on them, so that I can make sure that they are fully burned in. Just a stock image of the cans for a better look. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . Krakin
I absolutely love my HD 650's and the Schiit Magni. They are wonderfully accurate, although I need to properly EQ them once I get some more equipment to do so. I would highly highly suggest getting a Dolby Headphone device, because for me, it makes an entire world of difference in pleasure as it fixes the one thing headphones mess up. Spatial distortion. Skullz
Sennheiser HD212 Pro's I have been through 3 headphone cords to date with them, they are the most rugged headphones i have ever seen or had, countless slams on the computer desk and they still work like a champ. Better than timex's of they taking a licking and keep on ticking. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

kirill007
Looking for some good over-ears for under $100. Leaning towards this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_92929_Sennheiser-HD429-FIIO-E06-SLHP07.html Those headphones are very good for their price range, a little on the bass heavy side compared to other Sennheisers. I wouldn't spend the extra money on the Fiio and go for the the Sennheiser 449 instead, the cable is shorter and quite a bit more rugged. I assume this is for use with a portable player? Don't waste the money on that Fiio E06, that one is pretty much useless and not worth the extra hassle to carry it with you. The 449 directly to your portable player will get to a high enough volume and sound is almost the same. Go atleast with the Fiio E07 or E11 if you think you'll need more power and better sound quality. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for. Leaning towards this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_92929_Sennheiser-HD429-FIIO-E06-SLHP07.html Be aware that hose are open-back headphones, as in other people will be able to hear it. Edit: Now idk, because it says both open and closed on it.
