How to make a Dual alt bracket on a 4.3L chevy (video)

Recommended Posts

I have been having a lot of people ask me where to get a dual alternator bracket for a s10 blazer 4.3L. I myself, for a long time had no luck finding any info on making one. So with some advice from tacomaguy1 I made mine out of steel angle iron and some bolts. It replaces the AC compressor.

I just wanted to share a video I made to help people with the basics of how it was done.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks :)

Also, if this is not in the correct section, my bad.

Yeah again very nice video as my next vehicle will most likely be a Blazer / Jimmy with that 4.3L in it. It'll be a good resource for ideas when that time ever comes for me.

Try Jimmy Zukauska on FB. I think he's making dual brackets for the 4.3

He does. Tim and I are adding a 3rd using it and this method show.

Tim has already. I behind.

Yes, those look nice as hell. This is more of a budget thing if you are not worried about losing your AC

Might have to try this if I ever decide to ditch the AC!
