Thanks man! - Nope, never built a 6th! :unknw:

But feeling confident I guess... Still in design/idea stage at the moment, so a few things may change.. But we shall see! :)

I've just done some (Quick)/Rough maths on a 1/4 Line for these, and if I'm correct comes out to a 14.125ft Total Wavelength, and a 24.6667ft Port :shok:

I ran isoberic enclosures for years ... Loved them.

However, I used them for Sound Quality.

Dont exactly like when people ask for a free design like so...

But it shows you the basic numbers you will need

http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194853-looking-for-someone-with-tline-experience/?fromsearch=1

Here is the important info

In fact this took me less than 1 min to find

Read a little it's what I did to learn and it's quite easy to learn to design these boxes

Your magic number with 1 18 is 254

So take 250 that is your port area a rectangle that can be

16x15

10x25

However you an get close enough to fold it in there

Bend it back and forth as many times as you need to make it 8' long

You want the port and sub to end as close together as Possiable and facing the same direction

Good luck

Your magic number is

Two 15" = 353.43

I would not recommend you try to dual tline these subs

Just go for a Standard 4 th or 6th order

Like the other thread I don't think you have enough room to have a properly designed tline. Although because you have a deeper vehicle trunk it sub area. You have a much better chance of fitting a properly designed T line

Ah, thanks dude! I presume they weren't on this sort of power, too?

I mean - I understand, with running Subwoofers in an Isobaric configuration - You lose around 3db Efficieny, and it does put a bit more stress on the Subs themselves, as essentially it is doubling the motor force/power?

Your magic number is

Two 15" = 353.43

I would not recommend you try to dual tline these subs

Just go for a Standard 4 th or 6th order

Like the other thread I don't think you have enough room to have a properly designed tline. Although because you have a deeper vehicle trunk it sub area. You have a much better chance of fitting a properly designed T line

Thank you for your kind advice and help, it's much appreciated.

I know T-Lines & 1/4 Lines work better for smaller, low powered subs to maximise the efficieny.

I did consider a Folded Horn design, but like you say - it's a lot of work, and often very complex. Not to mention, I don't have the foggiest when it comes to working out the angles/lengths of the Horn itself, even after trying to research for Designs/Methods to do so.

I know Folded Horns work very well, much like a Trumpets Amplification and Compression in the port/horn itself.

But never have I seen a Folded Horn with an SPL Designed driver - perhaps due to the small peak frequency SPL output?

I considered perhaps starting with 1 woofer and trying to above boxes, to see what sort of results can be achieved.

I then thought about running a simple 4th/6th order like you say, to house the two subs in a non-isobaric configuration.

Do you know where I could perhaps find a reliable method/tutorial on creating 4th/6th order boxes? I've had a play with Bassbox Pro 6 - but can't get 100% to grips with it, and don't want to trust it in-case I've made an error on my part - and would much prefer to work it out with Pen and Paper to see how they compare?

Thanks in advance, and once again for everybodys feedback and advice.

Feel as if I am getting somewhere now...
