Phaeton
i will just leave this here gotta love 3 speeds. Change out the gears and tranny and you would have a better chance. i had a manual 4 speed with over drive, wasn't stock with the truck but i kept it in the low rpm's all the time. you change the gearing and tranny and you take it out of its power range.. whats the point to have a big block to just slow it down if your broke as shit and thats all you got, then you take it and make the best of it, in this case i was going for mpg cause i had a part time job then, so money was tighter than the pants on will-i-am 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
KiKaZz74
If I could get a diesel I'd be thrilled. But can I get one at $15k? Duramax or Cummins are my dream trucks. Newer ones are nice but I love the sound of the 2000 area cummins. Sound aggressive as hell to me. New ones are so quiet. Broke_Audio_Addict
You could definitely get one for $15k it's just going to be about how much mileage it will have on it. in that price range most will have 150,000-200,000 miles which is nothing for a diesel. You'd just have to hunt down what you want. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. KiKaZz74
Ideally I'd get a ram or Silverado or sierra 2500 diesel. I'd like to do a level kit if not done with 4 inch lift. But that's ideal. Lol I'll just have to look around I guess and I'll come back with what I find and ask u guys when the time comes and look around at reviews. Moreno93
It seems like for what you really want you should really only be looking at Dodge & Chevy trucks. whether it be the 1500 or 2500's and honestly think you will be happy with one of those makes/models
KiKaZz74
That's what it seems. But if not tundra seems nice and I do like the looks of most of them. Or a burban or tahoe. Or fuck. Phaeton
you can pick up some decent 2500 silverado/sierras classic body for decent money, and old dodge 5.9 cummins from the 90's are bulletproof. You can pull a LOT of power from the mechanical fuel pumps. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
KiKaZz74
I'm just worried about rust and mileage on them at that age.
