90,000 Watt Daily Build Update

Recommended Posts

I read the post and watched the video, i meant in response to the fact that not many lithium batteries have been really tested to the limits, i was wondering if the differences in the lithium battery are still noticeable when trying to support all of that. Obviously them dropping to 11.7 shows that they are providing a lot of power and on a consistent basis, but does the voltage drop react differently than regular batteries, does it provide at somewhat steady-ier voltage that say lead/acid batteries, or does it dip and rise constantly like you would see a regular battery react? how is having a voltmeter hooked up to them going, does it read pretty constant then just suddenly drop off, these are things i wonder because these new batteries are really interesting and your pretty much paving the way for the learning curve, there arent too many people out there ive seen with them and even if so, its hard to see how they actually perform.

granted the pictures dont relate to these batteries, but how lithium vs lead acid works holds true to these graphs.

Notice the fall off of cell voltage for lead acid vs lithium (lead acid graph doesnt go off cell voltage though.)

Yeah i posted a link to those exact graphs and a whole write up on Lithium Batteries earlier on in the BL thats why i was asking/wanting to know if he was actually able to see the difference since he is one of the few who actually has one on a serious amount of power and can see how it holds up.

I would assume so, when you put 1600a on 1 battery and it maintains 11.7v on music.... clamped 20kw.... yea, there is some voodoo going on. Try that with 1 AGM and you will probably be at 10v or less and smoking amps.

I've been traveling since 07. And this was the worst trip I've ever had. lol. Truck broke down as soon as I parked in SBN. After 24 hours, I was able to drive again. Lost hotel, too late to register, slammed on the burp amps for 2 hours before blowing mosfets. (They're burp amps). But, I did manage to get shit faced saturday night with some really cool dudes.
