That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. It seems like ANY body that starts into car audio instantly thinks l7's are jesus quality subs. I'll continue to buy products from the "underground" manufacturers at higher prices because I know the engineering behind them is solid. Like n8 said, can't do a 60 on 4 l7 15's. a 60 on 4 Crossfire, Sundown, Fi, Tantric, Digital Designs, SoundQubed, AA, DC, etc, 15's isn't uncommon. Both get you to work just the same.If you want to get on the 160 level, as n8 mentioned you need to up your spending.As OP stated, you can get a hell of a lot better than stock sounding system on the cheap.Everyone decides what to spend on. Some people eat all generic food but run hertz and zed in their car. Some people only buy the best of the best of everything. Some people buy 15 cheap ass horns, spray paint them gold and run that in their car as a system and are happy. It's all relative. We all have varying levels of interest in everything we do.Personally, I buy the cheaper level of most things, but spend a little more on escorts. One must pick and choose.
