The door panels have been started, and will actually clean up the factory door panel inserts that were trashed. From the factory, these cars have a plastic speaker grill panel and a wrinkly vinyl "map pocket" that looks like crap, in my opinion. These pieces are just held onto the door with little metal bend over tabs, with plastic pop in retainers to hold the entire door panel on. With those eliminated, and a 3/4" birch solid trim panel screwed to the metal door frame, it should be much more solid with less rattles.

A ton of Stinger deadener is going in each door before installation.

Took the car down to Kurgan Motorsports in GA to get it dyno tuned. Max power feel pretty similar to before, but it definitely drives much better. Less bucking at low RPM, better off idle response, very smooth all around. It is much easier to tune for Wide open throttle than for drive ability....

Bob is definitely one of the best. A good customer of mine, and a Mechman alternator owner, Ward Spratlin works the counter there.
