Ahh ok, cuase in all the other pics i saw silver foil. And i think i might just fork out the money for 160sq ft of the damperner pro stuff from 2nd skin. I plan to use this as my daily until it dies or i do. aculous Posted April 20, 2015 Report Share Posted April 20, 2015 Murder mat is pretty nice too, sold through Crescendo. I actually went with it instead of getting more RAAMMAT. (I've used both) Look at the mil thickness of the butyl material. Thats what matters really, because all you are doing with deadener is adding weight to the panel to lower the resonant freq. of the panel vibration. And yea 25% coverage is good for most panels. Later on when budget allows you can mess with mass loaded vinyl and or barrier type materials.
