audiofanaticz Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 I bypassed it in my car and it was still being a bitch, talked to singer and he redid my alt. All I do is plu his harness into the stock one and then into the alt and I'm at 14.6/14.9 all day and 15.2 when its cold. Mike dont know what hes doing........ last thing id recommend... See like, I know your being sarcastic, but everyone doesnt know that. People may actually think that Singer products suck, especially newish users, and all that is doing is hurting Singers rep.

Newbies are going to see it and think his alts and knowledge is garbage.
illestVillian Posted July 10, 2015 Author Report Posted July 10, 2015 I'm not looking for 14.9 at idle, I'd be happy with 14.8. These problems started before the new alt and batt went in.
illestVillian Posted July 10, 2015 Author Report Posted July 10, 2015 I not saying screw your advice , I could see if this started after I put the new alt on but it didn't. This started with the stock alt on,after I did a big 4. Sounds like a grounding issue, right, triple checked them. I'll look into that fancy wire grease for them. I personally can't see a big 4 fucking up a eld.
reedal Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 You'd settle for 14.8? You don't need that. If you're not dropping into battery resting voltage and you're charging at ~13.8 or higher then your good. illestVillian Posted July 10, 2015 Author Report Posted July 10, 2015 14.8 volts was for the sarcastic genius in the thread. I'm at a red light now and it dropped down to 12.4 volts. I've had this car 6 years, something is not right
Moreno93 Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 I'd say rerun your your stock wire that you replaced & leave the 1/0 as a secondary source just make sure you run it properly
