Question of the Day: ever roll with house gear (stereo) hooked up in your car?

Question of the day: i know some people had car audio in their room WAY before they had a car....but lets flip the script here. Have you ever rolled around with HOUSE gear (stereo) in your CAR? A receiver powered by a power inverter....maybe some old house towers in the trunk....maybe both? I know i am guilty back in the day! We would do whatever it took and didn't give a damn!

my first system was 2 optimus 15s with horn tweeters in the back of my chevette running off an audiovox EQ. it was bad lol.

never did but some dude i knew put his DJ loud speakers in his wagon and sounded like shit.. still didnt stop him from driving around with a coffin in his wagon going full blast down the street

Jensen towers with dual 8"s, so four 8"s bumping. I bypassed the tower's crossover and just wired up the subs.

Jay Z's "Hard Knock Life" had just come out and sounded decent man!

At 16, my buddies dad had some huge cerwin vega 15" house towers.

He left for buisness. We got high. Looked at each other and with in the hour had those things in his pinto ( yes a shit colored pinto) with my 2 sentrek amps.

Cruised Main Street the entire weekend bumpin that ghetto shit. Was a damn blast.

His dad had no idea.

I had a couple of Sony bookshelf speakers in my friends car before. Think they had 8's on em. Was fun as a kid watching them move blasting the Garage Days cd

haha hell yes... no dl was 11 in the carport in a 78mustang2 with with 2 12 towers in back seat receiver on pass seat would spend all hours in that car just bumpin,, dreamin of the day I could beat down the street.. & embarrassingly enough more recently in the Honda 3yrs back needed to test an t1000 put 2 15 towers in trunk even ran a couple of errands with them back there ... lol...
