Have you had much of prior experience with passives? I have personally owned home theater systems with down firing pr's and hated them and as i have already made clear the pr's are not decided since there going to be custom i am going to talk to psi, Tantric, and emf too see if i could get some made not just yet but soon. I have enough money to throw and make a few mistakes along the way. So just looking for the best for this build and still looking for other opinions on who makes really quality passives. If anyone has a great idea feel free to chime in and i might just get 2 21 inch passives instead of 4 15's i am still planning and brainstorming but i am trying to get to a point where i am absolutely sure but i am still juggling ideas and i am having alot of fun with that. There is alot going to happen with this car not just audio or performance so plans and ideas will change and i am sure next year ill probably still be swapping things out even after i buy and install them. Builds are constantly changing.
Adam Conyers Posted July 20, 2015 Author Report Posted July 20, 2015 My past builds are not documented and i do not have the vehicles to go and take the pictures of and this will be my first build that will be documented on this forum but ill definitely take pictures every step of the way too make sure its easy to follow when i get to building and putting a build log together. I am really excited guys and cant wait till this beast is bumping.

gckless Posted July 20, 2015 Report Posted July 20, 2015 Why did you hate the downfiring setup? Typically you do not want to mount PRs horizontally because of the extra Mms. May lead to poor performance and will cause them to sag, possibly resulting in the need to rebuild them. Scratch the PRs here. Go with a regular ported. Better yet, replace the PRs with powered drivers and run 6 of something else besides the EMFs sealed. People scoff at sealed setups, but they can be damn loud too. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. I am trying to do something different i know this isn't the simplest or efficient route but i am bored of the norm and just want to try something new and those ermagherds there is just something about them lol i know that is goofy, but its as simple as that to me and its just a opinion. If a neo woofer i find with a higher peak to peak xmax and of equal power handling or greater is found before this i might just change them but at this time its the one thing i am set on. That i cant say no to its the one thing that i definitely want to apply in this build and is something different. I have been following the progress of the woofer for awhile now and i am a little obsessed lmao.
