Kyle13130 Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 I'm planning on getting a FSD Audio FZ2600D and want to know if 1/0 Excelene welding cable is enough? It will be around 14-16 feet of cable. Also the company recommends a 250 amp fuse, should I place that closer to the amp or closer to the battery, I've heard recommendations for both..

So 1/0 AWG cable will work fine as that is what the amp calls for, not oversized 1/0 .. hope that helps!! audiofanaticz Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 You should fuse both ends of the wire. Does not really pay if there is no rear battery or power source. Its not like a fuse will stop the amp from blowing, so fusing by the amp is pointless, and fusing just the front by the battery is fine.
