one run of 0 guage vs two runs of 4 guage

My SHCA 1/0 OFC is rated for 350A at 20ft. I think whatever you saw on Google is for welding wire or something. Even 1/0 CCA is ~250A at 20ft

Yes, you'll see more voltage drop over the same length. The cross sectional area of 1/0 is 113mm^2, where 4ga is 50mm^2.

Don't trust a shop but you personally just smoked two decks, makes sense.

Hence why I said true spec not oversized car audio spec

Regardless if you said true spec your numbers are still wrong.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Two runs of 4ga would carry the same current as one run of 1/0.

Doing two runs of 4ga would end up costing you more money.
