Thanks man I'm moving along on it as fast as I can. I am in hopes to have it road worthy very shortly. Then I can start on the system for him. No better time to run a bunch of wires then when I have no interior in it! B)

Came out slick. I have read a bunch about that "dustless" and seems solid. Just hate the idea of the water being used, which is why I personally always leaned towards soda blasting, but up here in the midwest any added moisture leads to rust in what feels like minutes!!!

I can't begin to guess the hours I put into blasting suspension parts to send to chrome, I don't envy anyone doing that for a living!!

Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking!

You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it.

I thought the same thing about the water and ask now how the hell don't it Flash rust as soon as it's done? They showed me to every 10 gallons of water and 2 50 pound bags of crushed glass they add 14oz of a rust presenter (Hold Tight was the name) to keep it from flash rusting. They told me it will last on there for a while and keep it from rusting until I get it primered AS LONG as I did not get it wet again. I'm glad they told me that cause I was going to leave there and swing thru a car wash and pressure was it off! They told me to just use compressed air to blow all of it off. I did that today well most of it I'm going to do it a few times just to make sure there aint none hiding in nooks and cranny's and blows out when it's being primered. I called my painter and he told me give him about a week and he will fit it in and go ahead and spray it for me then I can finish the body work and he will spot primer it for me

Now it will stay in the shop but that won't keep it 100% moister free so I'll snap a few pictures of it before I send it to be put in primer

I've actually been busy on Pig-Pen just been slacking on update's :unknw: I went ahead and pulled the front windshield so I can paint the dash and replace the seal around it. I was actually surprised that it was in super great shape around it! Most of them rust real bad in this area! :yahoo:

Also dropped off more parts to be primered with the body shop, as well as picked up my parts from the powder coat guy. Not the best pictures in the world I took them with my phone that take crappy pictures and the stuff had dust on it to I didn't even wipe it down yet. :P

Tonight me and the wife temporary put the rear bumper on there so I can set the tow hitch in place and weld it in. The best part about this car is it don't have to be 100% perfect! Pig-Pen never was so yep I could of repaired the holes in the bumper before powder coating but NOPE it gives it flavor! :hi:

Good thing I didn't take no bet with you on this one! :P So far it is not surface rusting anywhere I have not touched but however anywhere I've touched has surface rusted! But it will be fine my guy that does the painting told me before I bring it to him I should go over the whole thing with some 180 grit paper on a sander just to smooth things out and the sealer primer will lay down a lot smoother.

That dustless blasting looks incredible. It is a pretty penny however.

Literally months of prep work and stage sanding and more can be done with one blast!

Yeah the regular price of it is kinda high but I got lucky and the place that did mind had actually been following my build as well as they are new to this system so they cut me one hell of a deal to blast my car for me to put there name out there for them on offering this service! Sounded great to me! :hi:
