79 cutty
I believe if you ever need to search for that part people refer to it as the bumper filler on the X-frames.? Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. bsneon98
Your really busting some ass on this man. Is all priming you have done been rattle can? I see the can on your cart in the second picture. Good ol rustoleum filler primer! sideshow_kustom
Your really busting some ass on this man. Is all priming you have done been rattle can? I see the can on your cart in the second picture. Good ol rustoleum filler primer! I have been spraying it with rattle can then just about sanding it all the way back off with 220 grit sand paper just to fill in any small scratch's. Then I am taking it to the painters and having him spray them with 2 coats of good primer. The rattle can is more just so I can see where I'm at with my body work and to fill in light scratch's! sideshow_kustom
I kinda changed directions today to give my self a break from body work! Time to mess around with this stealth hitch some! I started off by cutting small inner support sections for every weld joint as well as chamfering the edge for deeper weld penetration and a much wider, stronger bead. It is all tack welded together right now for a test fit! Now to see how it looks in place! Now for the center section that will stick out to the bumper I can not cut it to length yet and weld it to I get the rear bumper back on it. There will also be some more support on the back side of the frame where it comes through Don't remember if I showed it or not but I have machined C-Channel down to fit inside the frame to box it in at the rear for added support as well as my welding location for this hitch. I will add some more support for it as well in other places but I need it to be as STRONG as possible since it will be towing Bis-Kwik! sideshow_kustom
Well don't look like I'm going to have all 4 doors done by my Monday deadline! But that's cool I will take what I do have done over to the painters Tomorrow and get him started on that stuff while I work on the other 2 Door's. Worked 12 Hours yesterday at my real job and when I got off a buddy invited me to ride to a cookout with him. Well I was ready to get Bis-Kwik out! Pulled up on the cookout and everyone came out to check the Wagon out. And even a guy was there that is a photogerpher and did some shoot's and want's to set up a photo-shoot with Bis-Kwik and some of his models! A Few of my buddies took these shot's I was messing around and Photo Bombed this one! You can see me acting crazy in between his truck and Bis-Kwik Now you KNOW everyone wanted a Demo so Beat the Block down all the way to this guy showed up! I guess not everyone on the block wanted a Demo! But he was cool about it and just ask me to turn it down cause someone was complaining about it and he even said he thought it was a stupid law but that's his job! So props to him for being cool about it and not being an ass Drive In Theater Speaker Build http://www.stevemead...-speaker-build/ Suitcase Build http://www.stevemead...ld-in-bis-kwik/ Coleman Cooler Build http://www.stevemead...ld-in-bis-kwik/ X10 Box Build http://www.stevemead...under-bis-kwik/ Complete Build Log On Bis-Kwik http://www.stevemead...13-wagon-build/ NEW SUB'S 8 SundownAudio X6.5sw Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197034-new-wagon-build/
sideshow_kustom
Back at it again! Found a guy that was selling original Biscayne emblems and I have yet to see them for sale anywhere new so I got them from him! This was a lucky score for me considering they are not easy to come by! I will send them to the Powder coat guy to blast them and Powder coat them bright red since I want to do some Bright red Pin-Striping. BUT today aint went exactly as planed! Powder Coat guy said he is behind as well as the painter said he was behind, so I just told both of them I will get back with them next Monday to see where they are at. Since now there is no bug rush working on the doors I wanted to move on to something else. I noticed the passenger quarter panel looked odd and had a crack so let's see what we got here! HMMMMMMMMM Well time to cut all that out! Now for to make a patch! Remember the scrap car I said I keep around to cut stuff out of! Well I think I might just have something that will work PERFECT right there! I aint NO body man and actually hate doing it but not much I can't do with a Grinder, Hammer, Anvil, And a welder so let's make this happen! OH and yes I work bare footed all the time! I guess that's why I keep a purple toe! Time for a test fit before I weld it in there. Well what do you know like it growed there! OH and you might of thought that was a joke about the Bare Footed all the time and purple toe! NOPE! sideshow_kustom
Pig-Pen has officially been tagged with the Side Show logo! Just a back story on the Side Show name in High School I rocked a nappy white boy fro and people nicknamed me Side Show well ever since then I have put it on the front of everyone of my old school ride's! This is 17 year old Side Show! Man that was YEARS ago I had a buddy of mine cut my Decal. I have used the same exact font on everyone I have ever ran as well as the lightning bolt S's HOWEVER I did do something I haven't done before! I used a Flat Black Snake Skin material for this one. I liked the way it looked and thought I would give it a try for this build! I Like it!
