Having the batteries in center of vehicle made a HUUUUUGE difference for me from previous builds where i had everything behind rear seat. this balances it out and is way nice to drive. Karkov Posted July 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2016 I spent my 4th of July weekend getting it playing, took a video shortly after firing it up for the first time to make sure everything checked out fine. Always nerve wracking on first fire up to make sure everything goes well, no dead electronics, wiring is correct, ohm loads, phases, blah blah list goes on Amps gain matched, LPF set to 80 hertz, Infrasonic set to 28 hertz, of course using the CC-1, overlap only 0 for now. subs stiff as hell. Song is "Don't Know" by Kevin Gates (non-decaf version). this is short vid. from the 4th when i turned it up for the first time for 15 sec. LOL I think today I will change LPF to 70, set Infrasonic a half octave lower and see how subs like it (box tuned to 32 remember) and maybe set overlap to 5 db err...-5 db or whatever and try it like that. Trying to get a little play time on it every day so subs get a little more loose, they are brand new and smell like glue still (NOT clipping). I am not talking about break in either, I know subs get a hair different sounding after some play time I want to add that i am LOVING this DD-1+!!!!!!
