the_garynator
Just curious if anyone knows of any parallel[\b] 6th order bandpass walls, or even no wall builds. I'm currently building one and was wondering if anyone else has. And I'm not talking about series tuned (rear chamber ported into front) which all of the 6th orders I've seen are. Thanks! Current Build: Project Flexington: 157.6db @ 37hz Parallel 6th order walk through, DC Neo Elite 18s, 4 DC 5.0ks, JY Lithium, 12 banks of XS Caps Old Builds:150db and HAIRTRICKs from 2x 12" Power Acoustik Mofos (6th order blow through) ;<p>Roadmaster Wagon Build - DC LVL 6 M3, Kicker Warhorse ; Godzilla swapped 240sx ; 6th Order Bandpass Alpine Type R 12 ; Fully loaded DC Level 5 18" 240sx
rocking.that.eclipse
NoSami ran one for a while. Not many people do it because they are a little more touchy than the normal series tuned. I know that you want to keep you ratio as close to 1 to 1 as possible. jk13
Saw one on here recently in a wall, and there are pics of a few others running around. Can't remember specifically who built them. I've built a few trunk/hatch boxes over the years, one from 1991 that is still running around today that my friends named the lunchbox. Issue with a wall is that if you're chasing numbers it's very difficult to align multiple ports at multiple frequencies to the mic placement point. Have seen a couple great demo setups though. Static drops are my bag.
