Matthew Williams Posted January 18, 2020 Report Posted January 18, 2020 I asked a shop to build me a box for the FI SP4 15 V2. They went to the back and measured my vehicle (2015 Jeep Patriot). I get the box and when I play it, I expected much more. I was told it was going to be a windy boi and you would do hair tricks fine on 5k. What are your thoughts on this box? Box is tuned to 34hz (according to them). Measurements are 38W x 17.75D x 17.5H. Port is 3.5in. W x 16.25H The shop is called "Sound Check" and it is located in Lafayette, IN

slowfkncar Posted January 19, 2020 Report Posted January 19, 2020 That's a strange box, I don't like how the bracing obstructs the port or how they skipped on paint/carpet, $375 is pretty nuts. Sp4' s are a bit tight when fresh, they really start smashing the lows once they loosen but also, hair tricks on low power/cone area mostly comes from cabin prep.
