I just happen to have a brand new DMM that I bought at home depot like a month or so ago that I haven't even taken out of the package yet. Now, as I read somewhere else - you dont got no drivers license ... one more time ... Cause ya know ... thats kinda funny. Putting 12volts to a woofer is not going to blow it that quick. How are you the "Owner of Innovative Designs Car Audio & Video" and you don't have a multimeter? If you have a big enough battery/bank you can push a LOT of current through a little subwoofer in a big hurry The second part is something I have wondered many times myself...
