Dude cmon.. I dont know if youve just had a shitty day or something but just this is ridiculous... *EDIT* My bad i thought you were sayin it to me... This is the last time i am going to remotely come close to backing up Dustin.. Assuming the man gets pics and did it like he said after seeing this Cobra box and if he TAKES MY ADVICE and makes atleast one small change to his setup then this will determine my final standing. Im giving him one last chance IMO before completely busting his balls.. Im still tryin to help ya out Dustin... That box better be good!

ok so i was working in the shop today, on my truck on the top half of the back seats. and i get a call from the owner of the shop, said that i would be dissappointed when he told me what he was about to tell me.

Well, its about the cobra build, not my truck. The guy with the cobra ran into a few money problems from what he told me. He is still going to run the L7 but we have put that on a hold for now. not sure when it will resume, but im hoping before the end of next week.

BUT IT WILL BE DONE!!!!

tommorow ill be soldering i hope so i can get you guys off my back with that, and i should be running all my wires into the tool box for my batts. i also called DD this morning around 10:00 A.M. to get a price on an amp being as i couldnt get in contact with my boss to give me a price ATM.

So, from what Scott at DD told me they discontinued the Z1a and will be using the DD Z2LV and quoted me a pretty good price on one, so ive decided to use 2 of the z2Lv's, for a total of 16,100 RMS . Well being as my boss is a dealer i can get them a little cheaper then the club DD prices so thats the amp im going with. We should be ordering our first batch of DD products sometime next week i believe, and if we can get our hands on two of them for me on our first order then i should have my amps pretty soon.

in the next to the last picture you can see the screws sticking up through the floor. im gonna use these to bolt the box down to hold it in so she wont go anywhere

Cmon guys this is a public discussion forum you dont need to be bitchin at each other and shit.. I can see where its comming from though.. Dustin these guys will tell you things like wait to post until youve done work and taken pics, learn to solder, dont use duct tape.. etc etc.. The reason ppl are bitchin and tellin you that you and car audio dont mix is because you havent taken the time to take ppl's advice and use it, maybe you have and just havent put updated pics or something. Solder those wires or replace the duct tape with electrical or hell the best thing i would like to see is that 1/0 soldered not crimped homie... Just take what they are telling you as advice, make some changes and people will act differently towards you. I havent spoken my mind until now and instead of going all out telling you the flaws that others have already done i said what i thought was the problem. We start by telling you this stuff to make sure your shit works good, but when we give you advice then you dont take it or something like that then its useless.. We're beating a dead horse right now man until you show us you have made changes. Show us the pics of the box youre building for that Cobra tonight along with either electrical tape or solder or something man.. Just try to work on it.. Guys im not tryin to back anyone up on this, i agree Dustin's work quality has been less than desired but just cmon.. We dont need be tellin each other they suck and to eat a dick (chuckles), all we're doin is fuckin up an awesome forum we have here.. Lets get this man on the right path!

Well put...although I feel at this point soooo much breath is wasted on these threads...I try to stop myself b4 I do that...lucky for him someone is pickin up the slack...and hopefully he will listen the 10th time around.

I agree with that totaly he should have held off on posting this thread until he had build pics, we'll teach him the right way, if not, welp I dunno, maybee I will just bann him from this section or something
