Boon
What I'm getting down to is a little more work on your box will make you a lot happier in the long run. Hell yes! My new box for a DD9515 with 4kwrms on it does 139.7 @ 58hz at the moment but that's probably because it's peaking at 94hz due to me not having any pipe long enough I'm expecting it will take me another few solid days of tweaking but I hoping it'll gain another 10dB along the way 10.x volts fo' life! Toxiccasper
Because you go biting peoples heads off saying its not hard to get loud in a trunk car but youre really not getting that loud in a trunk car either because the seats are folded down its pretty much like an suv then but with a lower roof and less air space

AI James
ouch at the guy with the DD and the 139 and also as already stated with the seat down its pretty easy to make any sub loud even xplodes. i believe gmonk had 2 xplodes doing mid 40s at one time. And all this talk about aero ports, its not like they are magical or anything you can get just as loud with a properly slotted port as a damn aero port. Derrick824
I think for some reason people are automatically considering all setups with these ports to be spl only. Its not like its cheating using round ports. Also I'll say again that this setup is tuned low at 33hz and it plays music well. As far as the seats I'll bet at least 95% of trunk car scores that are posted are with the seats down and doing burps. All of a sudden now its not fair for us to meter with the seats down. Every local competition here in SC allows the rear seats to be folded down and its actually a lil sad at how many people are barely hitting a 140. There were actually trunk cars at the last Clash event only hitting high 30s on an AC meter. Anyways, the setup is all there for people to view including the box specs. It works well. The proof is in the vid. Maybe ya'll can try out something similiar and gain a few dbs. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif
