No there is no special school you have to go to to be an installer, you can go to a school like acoustic edge or installers institute and get your mecp certification, but you dont even have to go to a school to get that either, you can study at home and then go take the test, its only like 50 bucks, make sure you buy the study guides and pay attention to them and you should do fine...
