Why You Dont Use Chrome Stainless Or Even Aim Air Tanks

ya the real question is how much pressure.....i dont see how the color of the tank has anything to do with it. Scary shit though for sure...

ah, you mean the peas?

Not my car its a car in Australia.

It popped at a gas station could be herd for well over a square mile and made the driver completely deaf for several minutes afterwards.

it was at 200 psi

it was a aim tank not dot approved

Im not sure exactly why you dont use chrome tanks but theres a long drawn out article on the s10 forum. It has to do with structure intergraty. Stainless tanks are just to thin and week to hold up to daily air ride.

always make sure you use dot approved tanks.

I would think chrome tanks would be worse since they grind down the weld to make it smooth kinda weakening it
