exactly....IMO there should be a class for each and every vehicle and sub-classes depending on the configuration (ie walls/non walls, back seats, no back seats etc) . That would be IMPOSSIBLE, i know, but it would be the ONLY fair way to see who is really "louder".

two different cars will always meter differently especially if your comparing an SUV to a rex. Not only will 2 different cars meter different, the experience in those rides is always different. A 155 in a rex doesnt sound anything like a 155 in an SUV IMO.

imo, 95% of these threads are mainly started just to try and stir shit...i dosnt matter if steve competed or not...what he hits is higher then most ppl will ever hit, and he does it DAILY....i think it should somehow be thrown into the rules that threads started relating to steve numbers vs. others shouldnt be allowed, all it is is a multi page drama pool each time threads like this are started

we know what steve hits...we know what the hoopty hits...it isnt really that hard to find the numbers...and even if these ppl are louder then him..its hard to say they are doing it and still comfortable carrying 4 ppl plus a driver

BTW: the original poster of that thread bought those 18's from me and i NEVER told him i did a 164.....why the F@CK would i ever tell someone that shit unless it was true? The loudest ever at a show was 156.5 dbdrag and 157.4 Usac kick....in 2004. The loudest ive gotten it at home f#ckin around with the mic was 158.xx. My laptop is broke so i cant meter anymore but i dont care about that, im more pissed my RTA isnt working.....i need to tweek on my mids/highs and i cant right now.

the hoopty doesnt do a 164 either...it does a 159.1 dash, 160.1 kick....thats the most metering it will probably see and that was just for a point of reference so you guys know its loud....
