Not looking for the best, just something that will last a while, and sound clean while doing it. It will be a 4ohm load, so an amp with 50w + at 4ohm is needed..... Which of the above do ya'll like the best? I appreciate any and all input. Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

Nightshade
I agree with the JL amp, but if you want a better sounding amp for much less check out ebay for a Cerwin Vega EXL400.4 It's the amp I have in my car running the mid's and high's. It's actually the same exact board and components as Arc Audio amps and shares similar characteristics to the Zapco amps. Jacob from Sundown told me this after I already had mine and I was wondering why it performed so well and sounded so good. Link to one forsale on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/CERWIN-VEGA-EXL-400-4-...A1%7C240%3A1318 I got mine for a little bit cheaper on a closeout on Ubid about a year ago. I bought a couple of them at the time and ended up selling all of them except one. For the money I don't think you'll find a better amp. audiofanaticz
nice amp shades Otherwise, these alpines are decent too. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6534_A...e+MRP-F450.html Its 199.99$, 70 by 4 @ 4 ohms, 100 by 4 @ 2 ohms. Free shipping. Ive probolly installed at least 30+ of these 4 channel amps, and they all sounded good. Id say go for a alpine pdx otherwise, but thats way out of your budget. Nightshade
For sure the Vega's are badass amps. I only have Infinity Reference speakers in my car, but you would swear that I've got $400 components in there. Everyone that's listened to it always comments on what speakers I'm running and when I tell them that they are Reference's they're like damn I never knew they could sound that good. I had a MB Quart comp in the car and off the Vega amp they hurt my ears at full listening volume. Took em out and sold them, but pretty much anything can sound good off of this amp Quote 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
