Opinions On 3,000 Watt Amps

look into stetsom as whell, i have a 2kd on my lvl 4's and they loved it!! or if ur doin lvl 5 coils and feel brave step up to the 2k6d

Id say the same level 5 coils or if you have a few months, wait for the SAZ-2000

i can and will get the lvl 5 coils for sure, rusty's here in town and i keep in touch and they'd make it how i want

and im wanting more like 3,000 im runnin like 1,800 and it aint enough, 2,000 isn't big enough of a gain imo

Sundown 3000d is a wicked amp. I threw one in my car for a 10 minute thrash and it seemed to go as well as the AB VFL400.1 that's normally in there.

awesome guys, looks like most people dig the sundown, could definently go that way but moneys kinda a limit and definently wanna buy new for warranties etc.

but no ones saying anything about the elecrical i'll be needing...? can someone chime in or should i start a new thread in a different section?

i'd say a good 220-250 amp alt with a few good batteries would hold any 3000rms amp

don't waste you money on the massive audio p3000, i have one and its let me down twice.

if moneys a BIG issue look into the Crunch gp3000pro

or if you can wait a bit there are some Diablo Audio tech Hellfire 2500s coming out soon

It's going to cost a bit more money but instead of a Sundown 3000D I would reccomend 2 1500D's by Sundown. It will help divide impedence between two amps instead of one resulting in a lower impedence rise and the woofers seeing more power in the end. I went from a single Crunch Gp3000D to 2 Saz1500D's and gained 1.8db's on a direct swap of amps. The 1500's are no joke either.
