Comcast 16mb Internet - Gettin It Today!

considering comcast caps people that actually use there alloted bandwith... i think your wasting money steve... i have used comcast except when we had it i was on a 13mbps.. and i got capped at 10 and then they dragged it down to 2... now comcast is doing a capping of anyone they feel necessary at peak times..(capping is when they limit your speed) if i were you i would try and find time warner... my uncle used to work there before he started his shop.. and they will not cap you.. i download gigs apon gigs of shit a week and upload about the same and im not capped and probably never will be..

See if you can actually get that much download though. Wierdly enough, Ive often got a higher speed shown on speedtest.net than I can ever get while actually downloading stuff like torrents etc. (downloading multiple things to actually see where it caps.)

Comcast seems to cap me right at 10 when actually downloading, but that isn't what speedtest shows.
