Dd Subs Vs Dc Subs

HOnsestly guys. There are to many factors to take into acount when building/installing a sub to say that one is peticularly better than another. Its all in the vehicle and the install.

Also correct me if Im wrong but dont different subs perform better in different boxes. So isnt taking one sub out of one box and dropping another one in the same box to test them kinda of unfair and isnt that also changing the constant in an experiment.

Vehicle: 2001 Ford Escape

Head Unit: Kenwood Kdc-x592

All out for a rebuild.

New shit coming in the next 30 days.

Hey everyone i can see i sparked up some competitive arguments about the topic that was not my intentions i was merely seeing waht sub everyone preferred. I believe that both subs are great products and live up to their name and reputation very well. All i ask is for those who have not used one product or the other dont bash it until you have tried it. Anyways thanks for all the input even though most of it was arguing back and forth but it was nice to get opinions thanks.

Lol, no problem. We're all allowed our opinions right? So what's wrong with my opinion being in this topic just like the opinions of every other person here?

Zach, we all know you had some issues with DC subs, so your gonna knock em anytime u get a chance, this isnt the first time u have, but it will be the last time you do so on this forum.

IMO your opinion is biased and full of distortion

if you got fat stacks of cash, get some DD's you wont be unhappy, if your on a budget and would still like to have a great product in your vehicle pick up the DC.

People tend to take these vs threads way out there, not realising that if someone posted this chances are they arent trying to set a SPL world record they just want somethign great for their vehicle and want opinions. Hell half of the people who told you dto go one way or another run other companies subs themselfs.

Fair enough. I'll keep my opinion of the company to myself from now on, okay. I do really like the DD subs and have seen great things about them. I've seen them set countless world records and continually push the bar for manufacturers.

How would the DD 9500's compare to a DC Level 5. They seem more on the same playing field in terms of price, power handling.

On burps I know the DD's are loud and sh*t and hold many records, how are they on music? Not many people on the West coast have even heard a DD sub, period.
