Nic Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 been lurking for awhile... just registered the other day to start posting and im curious on one thing... why does nobody use eclipse head units? i see alpine and pioneer being the top 2... i ditched both of them to go eclipse those 8volt preouts made a large improvement on my system back in the day.... I have a 5100 and im happy with it...alpine and pioneer are just a little more popular I guess...probably the only reason i run eclipse is cuz the shop I use to work for sold them and i liked how the performed... I have one in my basement that will go in my play truck when I get around to working on it. Another thing is some amps cant handle 8 volt input. Its rare not alot but some.
