newls1
ATi is coming out with their new DX11 GPU's VERY SOON (few weeks) and the 5800 series seems to be just crazy fast and how about this, ........just imagine 24 monitors @ 7680*3200 resolution! WOW! using CrossfireX technology gaming with 6 30" monitors @ 7680x3200 and still having very nice FPS, what the hell! This sounds very promising for the RED team again. I have read articles saying 1600sp's 2GB DDR5 @ 5GHz 80tmu's, etc...... And be somewhere in the $299 range. I dont understand why Nvidia always had there flagship GPU sell for 6-700$ when they come out, but ATi's are usually more affordable (1/2 price) and offer 90% of the performance. 2 of these GPU's would OWN in gaming! I wonder what nvidia will release,.................oh I know, a respin of the G92 again...LOL (I wonder who will get this ) http://www.pcper.com/comments.php?nid=7744 Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

newls1
ive never been comfortable with dual and triple monitors. Ive always preferred one big one. I dunno its just me. I have that ability at work and i use one. im with you brother, im the same way myself, but there are MANY people that use 2 or more, and I think ATi is really trying to capture that market 100% this time around Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

Forevrbumpn
I prefer a larger monitor But I know in some cases, a multi monitor set up works good. I have a friend and he was playing WOW on the main screen, moves his mouse to the extreme right to control windows in his other monitor, that application is pretty sweet basically multiple monitors, doing different things, like in that first pic on that site, but multiple monitors sharing 1 image, nahh, I will just look out the window, while its closed Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. kirill007
Why is ATI bad, i have a ATI videocard and i really like it. Nvidea is jsut overpriced IMO, ati has a waaay better price/performance Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for. newls1
ATI 100% has the price/performance crown, no doubt! ATi is really coming around. It was a VERY ROCKY road when AMD bought them, but now it seems all that funding and research is really paying off now. Hell, there the first company to offer a 40nm GPU! hoppinAltima
These cards do look beastly, but it looks like to me that it will be picked up by more business because of the multi monitor support. but well see because this card looks like it would blow nvidia out of the water
