MrSoundz
How many of you just run one woofer setups with the same results as 2 woofer setups? My one RF 12 T2 continues to impress me and while I am not a big fan bumping where everyone can hear me but even when I turn it up a little people's heads turn quickly. Nightshade
How many of you just run one woofer setups with the same results as 2 woofer setups? My one RF 12 T2 continues to impress me and while I am not a big fan bumping where everyone can hear me but even when I turn it up a little people's heads turn quickly. Well I ran 2 15's most of the year in NSPL and did a best of a 151.3 on the dash with 3600 watts. I then went to a single 15 off of the same 2 amps which produced more power since I could strap them at a lower impedence and was able to do a best of a 152.6 on the dash. That's a gain of 1.3db by dropping a sub and wiring the amps down lower. The funny thing is that I wasn't making all that much more power either. My clamped results when I dropped down to one sub were 5226 watts which is only 1626 more watts. So a lot of the gain came from the new box allowing the sub to work better in the environment that it was in. My one sub setup is the loudest in NSPL right now. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the one 15 will do a 155.2 in the kick off the same power. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
littleitaly1990
My 1 18" BTL set-up stomps my old 2 18" BL set-up out of the water. It's loud as shit and doesn't sound half bad. A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.

bubinga08
I have 1 Orion HCCA 10.2 1500w RMS, hooked up to a hifonics bxi1608d amp. But it is in a little Toyota Corolla so it's good enough for now. I have only owned 1 subwoofer setups. It's over 9000!!!
