2010 T3 TSNS Motor Gap Video!

and to think i was gonna have 4 of the 18's to play with when they came out, too bad for what happened happened. haha. I still want to play around with a 3" coil T3 sub just for fun. I like playing around with other subs. Last subs i real time i got to truely play around with another set of subs were some old MMats Jugs that were dual halfs and were a pure burp only sub. had some special coil.

The T2000s are really nice 3" coil subs.

not sure if its the angle of the video but that gap doesnt look symetrical the top looks wayy tighter than at the bottom. maybe just sitting together not actually assembled or could just be the angle of the vid but either way im not downing the sub before anyone trys to get pissy i was just taking a good look at the vid.

Ed, did u know Danny Britian. he wanted them subs for the van we building, but then some stuff came up. PM if u wanna bs. i think i got a team mate that was bsing about some t3 subs in his s10, either t3's or dc's . He did a 162.4 at finals i think. usaci side. but owell. i'm done rambling

sorry but the old TSNS isnt the hooha of all woofers. Ed has said it tons that it was an SPL woofer, yet its talked up to be the best woofer ever made.

i flame the old tsunicorgrounzerorockfordfosoundstreatcs because people say "i have a TSNS", but if you get a recone on an RE SX from FI people would say, "i have an RE SX with an FI recone!" The mentality behind the whole tsns hype is annoying as all hell. You could say "I have a TRF motor with softparts from T3" Yes i know changing the softparts can completely change a wooer but you can put ice cream on my turd and call it yours but it still came from me so its my turd, you didnt make it you put ice cream on it!!

The new TSNS will fix that. but please dont put that pretty little motor on the crappy ole TC basket

The old TSNS was a great SPL sub that just happened to play decent music. And there were actually 3 different motors used.

The new TSNS is great for SPL and Music because it is engineered that way.

Gap dimensions is proprietary info. Just know that it is designed correctly for what this motor is intended to do. And BL is super strong.

Wire gauge on the coil changes with impedance. ranges from 17 to 12.5 4 layer flat copper with a ceramic coating option.

I think that's a good idea. He could call his woofers Dwarfez, and they could have a picture of a little guy on the dust cap being levitated by a subwoofer.

Seriously though I think that JD put a lot of time and effort into these subs and I'm sure he wouldn't let them reach the consumer if they weren't capable of what he says they will do. He's a smart guy and is well aware of what would happen if he made claims on his product and it didn't hold up to customer abuse/use. I do realize that there have been delays in the past with some of the T3 products but did anyone ever stop to think that maybe he wasn't going to just throw some bullshit out there just to say he relased a woofer? Maybe he wanted to take the time to do it right by working more on the design, getting better quality parts, and even hyping up the product a bit so that people are more excited when it's released. I know there were issues at one point getting the actual parts to make the subs too, so some of you guys need to lay off and cut some slack. It's fun to joke about, but some of you aren't joking.
