It really makes you think on who is the noob that dont research product or get 2nd and 3rd estimates from other shops... yeah theres 1 shop here and all they push is JL and im not knocking it at all. but dont knock other brands. but there is one shop ive been going to for bout 2 yrs and this guy is pretty straight up. if anything he wants you do do the installs and actually tells me how to do it as well. and if i fuck it up he tells me to ocme by and he will show me what i need to do. there is also another shop about 1/2from here who sells DD but i wouldnt buy shit from that shop. they have screwed alot of people. in all honesty i dont give a fuck what your shop sells just have respect for the guy with no money and the guy with alot of money. They was i see it, audio shops are ALL ripp offs but for the most part they gipp you outta your hard earned money....the mechanic shop i take my truck to is the same way, if it something i can do the guy lets me know and shows me the best way to save money. Business's need to make money to stay open, everyone know's that, I know the owners of my shop very well and I know the kind of money that they make, but they do not fuck over anyone. You just cant do that in a small town or you will be black listed so fast. but when i lived in Des Moines, IA there was some really special spud heads there. In fact the 3 different shops that I went to in DM actually drove me away from Car Audio for 5 years and I am now just getting back into it with a huge hard on. the people in those shops were just aholes, and there was no way that I could compete, cruize, bs, or do anything with them. So happy to be back in to Car Audio and proud to have a great shop workin with me.
