Germany, they don't know Fi, AA, RE, AQ,DD, and all the other non-mainstream brands. And it was awarded the best product... That doesn't means ish, best product, maybe in price performance or looks, but if it was in pure performance, then the Soundstream XXX would win.(that's a known brand in Germany.) Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

STEvil Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 That's a pure myth perpetuated by noobs thinking that since they're underpowering they can turn the gains up and clipping the coils to death (clipping = power transferred to heat but not mechanical movement, which is needed to cool the coil) IF UNDERPOWERING KILLED SUBS, ALL SUBS WOULD BLOW WHEN YOU TURN THE VOLUME DOWN seriously though. quit saying any kicker is better then anything from Fi, AQ, DC, or PSI(recones) fancy ribbed molded surrounds and fancy shapped cones don't mean they have a lick of quality in the actual build. Clipping = death. Its a lot easier to clip an "underpowered" setup I think. Either way not like it matters much. For the record L5/L7's are not that great. Fun, but not that great. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
