Forevrbumpn Posted May 23, 2010 Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 Yeah Patrick bought a lot of the TC sounds stock up when he went out of business but I guess AK had a video of the guy who builds these woofers, in a video talking about them, and he is in Alaska, not Arizona AK proved me wrong But I'am still skeptical of the woofers myself too I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. He claimed they were so effing great but he didn't want to stand behind them. He wouldn't let me demo or do anything. He was just unreasonable about his product. I told him to build a demo setup for himself to show them off and he said "im not into it like that". So no sale. Any body that wont let you hear their product before you buy it is up to something. I also worked for him and personally build some of those... lower tuning is just hard. AkPride Posted May 23, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 well my guy "big perm", will let me post some of his videos up in about 1 week hopefully, he is sort of perfectionist and doesnt want me to so i respect his wishes. but he is putting 4 18'' on 2 JBL Crowns in the back of a tahoe, already did the dampinier 8battery bank my old HO alt from my suburban 300max 180 idle. so that should be nice. but back on topic, Just finished working after drinking and working off and on just enjoying the beginning of our summer up here, I borrowed my brothers amp which is a JL 1000v2 I ran the 4 neo 12's that i have right now all dual 2voice coils at 2ohm load at the amp which is 1k x 1channel so Im only pushing roughly 250 per sub i think right??? *Please correct me if Im wrong with that math * but since i built that new box in and only on that 250 per sub its louder then the orion HCCA 5000 i had on them b4 so I will upload some pics and videos of it during the daylight but Im really excited to see what happens on 1k each sub now EDIT: Have a Good Night and or Morning 4 15'' Big Perm Subs in a Custom Built Box. 4 Kenwood Excelerion Mids. 1 RockFordFosgate T4000.Bd 1 Alpine 500w.
