audiofanaticz
That's what I meant cup cake I know, just giving ya crap damn thats a sexy amp for sure absolutely sick! cant wait to get mine Yes, amp is totally sick and down right sexy! so glad I finally got it! barly slept tuesday night waiting for wednesday to come. LOL So onto the BAD news. I blew a battery, well it didnt blow. but it was releasing gases and squealing, and very hot!!!! It was a loaner NSB 90 from a friends street b crx, that sat for 2 or so years not being used or charged. When I brought it home it was resting at 7.X volts. I reconditioned it, and charged it in a low amp cycle for 2 hours on, 2 hours off. It was holding 12.7 volts over night, and when I load tested it with a 125amp draw for about 45 seconds straight it would drop to 10.X volts then rise back up to 12.6ish volts. I thought I was good to go with it, but I guess I guess wrong. Lol So now Im down to only 2 XS D3100s, a stocker up front, 3 DC Power alts, and like 6 runs of power wire (half is 1/0, the other half is 3/0). So onto the GOOD news. I clamped the beast!! :woot: Pics of clamp. AC Amperage/Current thru the positive speaker wire. AC Voltage of the Pos & Neg speaker wires. Probably a slight clip, havent scoped the amp just yet. This test was done using my TRUE RMS craftsman Professional clamp meter. I heard I didnt have to multiply the wattage by .7 for effiency due to me using a true rms meter by a few people, but the number seemed a little high. Lol AC Amperage = 62.2 AC Voltage = 91.9 Peak Watts = 5,716..18 watts RMS Watts = 4,001.32 Nominal Load = .8ohms Impedance Rise = 1.47 ohms DC Voltage = 14.9v with a drop to 13.7v So not too shabby in my opinion And like I said I am only .4db down from running 2 3krms amps, this thing is beastly, and Im sure I can get closer to my older scores with more testing, and trying things Thanks again for a great product Jacob, and DJ for helping me out all the time!!! :drinks:

Eric B
Nice. Me and Mike Singer have found if you get your reactive load around 2ohm is where this amp seems to like to shine. Currently in 2nd or 3rd place). These 2 scores are just qualifing! MECA 2X event: Driveby db5, 127.1db (currently in 2nd place) Modified5 151.Xdb (at the headrest, currently in 2nd place) Didnt do Meca SQ, still another day, may do that tomorrow spent a bit on entry fees thus far already!! USACI 2X event: Super Port Wars, 160.4db (1st place). StreetBeat sb2, 148.2 (1st place). Spl Modified 1001-2000, 151.4 (2nd place).
