I have an aq 15 and I want to invert it, can i just flip it over and put it in the box or is a special box required to run inverted?

If the box is built to spec, that is including the displacement of the sub, inverting it will change the specs. Your air space will go up and if your ported you tuning will change.

same box is cool one thing ya just should check out is to see if the surround will hit the wood or not but i think if you use the same holes for the screws it should clear. i worry about stuff too much though sometimes lol

You could always use the amplifier´s phase switch hehe, and yes you´ll change the internal space, depending on the subwoofer displacement you´ll get the tunning a little bit lower...

No need to change polarity, but you can if you want to.

Only if u have more then one sub you need to look at the polarity.

Yes you need to switch polarity even if it's one sub.
