Has anyone else noticed (its extremely hard not to...) the new ads on the top of the forum page? I personally have found these annoying as hell, they are fine on the main web page but on the top of every single forum page is really frustrating. I wouldn't mind a small row of ads, like maybe the top row of 6 that's already there but the sheer size of the advertising is far too big. takes up all of the screen when I load a page... Well that's just my opinion vented god knows how its going to be taken, not well I'm guessing but I thought it was worth mentioning... P.S. I am not bashing the site or Steve himself I love this forum, its the only one I like enough to use everyday... Live life to the full... Then TURN THAT BITCH UP! You can pick skins that dont have the adds once you have done that. This only gets rid of the google adds btw, all the partner banners stay no matter what.. If its too much to handle, thats coo, no pressure here at all! (as they should) and sometimes ill click them just to help the cause. neither my work monitor or home monitor are affected by them much anyways. I'm fine with scrolling past a few ads on every page so that I can be able to use this site for free every day. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . Having to scroll just to get to the first line of content isn't cool. You have the two rows of six, that's cool. Then you have the three huge ads under there. THEN you have the garage. Its just a lot of clutter built up in one place. If the row of three would be moved to like the left sidebar, it would make the site far more viewable IMO. I personally don't have a problem with ads themselves. My problem is when they get in the way of the content I'm trying to access. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
