Guest Nismofreak Posted November 6, 2007 Report Share Posted November 6, 2007 im actualy really disappointed. i thought an upgrade in sub and ALMOST double the power would really make a difference. i kinda expected this. o well i just got a winter project that i will have to do and i wants my numbers to be AT LEAST hit 145. what ill do is get some measurements of my bed and cut out and see what some of you guys can come up with. i might even do 2 subs and see what i can get. but i really wanted MORE. even after break in they wont be at what i want. dud no.........a 149-50if I hit a 146.6 when I have to prove, you need to hit more.. Did you ever think of making your blowthrough hole bigger? Im just taking a guess, but with a bigger opening Id think you would allow more air to move into your truck cabin making it a bit louder. Figure out whats going on, you have better equipment now you just need to pinpoint whats going on and how to fix it. If your on a stock alt, i would start with that. Those batterys of yours probably could use a good charge too. A real charge, not an alternator charge but a real one. The old system was probably a little more efficient then this one for the power you had on tap (alt, couple small batteries) but now the new one is more power hungry from the amp to the subs that now want more juice......it takes power to make power.
