MarioB Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 is there a reason why you are shooting them straight at each other? (forgot if thats on axis or off) or is that how you fire this set? 12- DC Audio m2Lvl3 12's1- Hertz HSK3 way2- DC5K's2- ZX350.42- Stinger SP1500D batteries in rear3- runs of 1/0ga. to the rearTeam DC Audiodcsoundlab.com Quality is all in how you take pictures I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person crazy to fit so many in so little. Robert8252 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 Just with the angle of the stock pillars only had so much to work with. Plus I'm aiming for more of a general center stage for now for driver and passenger. For now... Bit.1 will change that when I get one. If I was only running a two way set I would have had them more on axis but with the three way it gets harder to aim them properly depending on your dash layout. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

MarioB Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 I may end up doing the same with mine as space is an issue 12- DC Audio m2Lvl3 12's1- Hertz HSK3 way2- DC5K's2- ZX350.42- Stinger SP1500D batteries in rear3- runs of 1/0ga. to the rearTeam DC Audiodcsoundlab.com Quality is all in how you take pictures I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person crazy to fit so many in so little. Robert8252 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 They're going to sound good almost no matter what. To an extent that is. Best thing is to sit down in the car with someone (bill) if he's not def from building loud trunks. Lol and hold the speakers in different spots and aim them a few different ways to see what you like. Problem with mine if I were to do the. On axis the drivers side would be straight in my face. I can't have them farther down on the dash because the drivers side has the hump that would reflect a lot of sound. In general just aiming that across at each other off axis "works" well enough. Won't win any comps but will sound good and should do a good job at getting the stage just in front and close to center to start. Plus with you having 150+ dbs coming from behind having the perfect stage isn't a huge worry. Lol. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

Still trying to figure out what to do about that. I'll probably end up using pvc caps and seeing what that will do. But As of now, Press fit looks like a good option as far as getting them attached.
