nautical7
If you're just daily driving it you don't have to go top notch with tires, there are plenty of other brands out there for half the price that have the same results. I would say go to a local tire shop and see what they have in stock and get some info/reviews on them before buying. Try to find a reputable shop around you as well instead of a commercial chain, the smaller shops usually are more informative and helpful and sometimes cheaper. mbdblue
Id suggest looking into Kuhmo....not there cheapo ones, but but middle to high end. A lot of people shit on them, but I took them on some real bad driving conditions and the performed nicely (Tail of the Dragon at 45MPH in a downpour....I wouldn't recommend it, but they definitely did well) Quote AA-Atomic-Clif Designs-DC-Diamond-Digital Designs-Directed-Eclipse-Fi-Hertz-Hifonics-Kenwood-Memphis-Phoenix Gold-Pioneer-PPI-PSi-Stinger-Sundown-TC Sounds-Viper-Zapco

BeatBox
toyo proxes are really nice but expensive tires. those are bad ass tires but like you said they cost an arm and a leg got with some BFG's! continental makes some good tires too, kuhmo's are decent but onyl if your looking for cheap ones. pirelli's are pretty good but wouldnt be my first choice, the BFG's(i have Gforce sports) are pretty quiet til you hit 120+mph then you might start getting vives but it might just be my car.... Falkens Ziex's are decent too for the price but the mileage warranty is pretty low. IMO DONT GET SUMITOMO, GOOD YEARS or WAN LEE tires. just wouldnt sry To get the cheapest price go to a place that price matches pssh Discount Tire and check tire rack and see their prices <----they usually have the cheapest around so that would be better for you

If your using the cheapo's, the Kumho's are probably OK because lets face it, who cares. But in a "high end" low pro tire, from personal experience, KUMHO's are GARBAGE.
