LT.Smoke Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 There are much better and more easily installable products that last longer than peel and seal Anyone see that N8 hates it Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
SQMonte Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 It's worked out just find for me. I used SSDP on my doors, rear deck and all of the trunk except the floor (ran out). So I went down the street, picked up a couple rolls of peel n seal and did up my trunk floor and it's all good. I have no trunk rattle anymore. I don't remember paying $16 per roll though, I thought it was like half that. Rotten Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 peel n seal is a touchy subject here... you ask me.... i love it! i did mine spring last year.. (all 4 doors) and in summer we get days around 110 here in salt lake... i never notieced even the slightest smell what so ever, and that 16$ roll did all my doors, and my door speakers sound 100% better. and i did only a single layer... im getting ready to do my roof and back of cab prob 2 layers here in the next week or so..... im prob one of very few PRO peel and seal! haha -06' f-150... audio.video.performance.visual -08' yfz 450 all go. no sho
n8ball2013 Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 if you are pro peal and seal you dont know any better and have never used anythig resembling a real deadener. yall keep sticking roofing materials in your ride and I'll keep using a butyl based sound deadener THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger.

TeamHT Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 How does deadener make your speakers sound better? I'm beginning to think the reason you love it so much is because you don't know any better Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Ford302Redneck Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 I've used it a few times, and I've had zero problems, no smelling or falling off. Wasn't on the roof, so I can't comment on upside down. Maybe I'm lucky? I've used SS DPro and there isn't a comparison, but P&S is cheap and can be purchased locally. I personally rather spend the extra few dollars on quality deadening. Is Rammat still around? They use to be the "budget" quality stuff.
